Bremen is different. Great ,cozy and old-style gothic architecture, German and friendly. I really like this city! I came to visit my brother for the weekend, very determined to survive the trip and manage to read my articles for uni on the train too!

We found the famous Bremen musicians, had cafe latte and apfel kuchen (apple tarte) in the main square, had tea at a special place on Schnoor,

..also called the Magnum effect (ice-cream with cake? Dutch style..) ! A cool musical, a movie about a girl trying to find out who her real father was, a singing love story and my first time in a cinema in the Netherlands! Fun?! Yeah, it was a girls' night and we've got proof :)

Goede tijden, slechte tijden (or GTST, meaning "Good times, bad times") is currently the longest-running Dutch soap opera. The girls introduced me to it, during our dinners in the house. So far I have seen one a half episodes in Dutch!!! The more I watch Dutch TV, the more it sounds a bit like Danish.. except for the throat sounds.

On 22 September, the formal welcome to the new intake of Erasmus University’s international students was held. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Steven W.J.
